Kilpatrick Family Farm was started in 2003 by brothers Philip and Michael Kilpatrick. We both grew up in suburban Massachusetts, and moved to 
Granville in 1999 with our family to get away from the “city” lifestyle. In Granville, we now had enough land to garden, which we were very excited about! After a couple of years, the garden got bigger and bigger and by 2002, we started selling our 
produce. In 2003 we sat down and decided to make it a business. By 2005, we were doing multiple farmer’s markets a week and were selling some produce wholesale. In 2008, Philip left to pursue his dream of missionary aviation and Michael started running the farm solo (with a great crew!). This past year (2009) we did four farmer’s markets a week, a 100 + member CSA, and multiple restaurant accounts.
